Ready to turn up the heat on a cool career? When the furnace breaks or the air conditioner goes down – or it’s time to install energy-efficient equipment – nobody is more popular than a qualified HVAC technician. We can train you to work with new and vintage systems, from initial installation to service and maintenance. Prepare for your TSSA certification here!

What can you expect?

You can expect to learn how to install and maintain standard gas and propane heating systems, as well as ventilation and air cooling equipment. Our program prepares students for real world applications in residential and light commercial environments. It also gives them an understanding of gas codes and regulations, and provides an introduction to duct work.

What credentials will you earn?

A recognized college diploma, plus TSSA requirements for G3 and G2 certification.

Where do you go from here?

As an HVAC graduate, you’ll have access to a wide range of job opportunities. You could work as a Heating & Ventilation Technician, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician, or Stationary Engineer Assistant. You could also move into HVAC sales, or start an installation and service business!

Admission Requirements

• Personal interview to determine interest, attitude & values
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma / GED or equivalent mature student status
• Successful completion of standardized entry evaluation
